The peacock has been an inspiration for Harry Winston since 1977

Nature has long been a source of inspiration for Harry Winston. The peacock in particular has influenced the house ever since a high jewellery opal brooch was donated by the brand’s founder to the Smithsonian in 1977.

Presented in two different colours (blue sapphires set on white gold and red rubies set on rose gold), the Premier Precious Peacock is powered by a Swiss mechanical automatic movement, which can be admired through the sapphire crystal case back. Limited to 30 pieces, this rose gold model is presented with a raspberry-coloured alligator strap and matching rose gold ardillon buckles set with 17 brilliant-cut diamonds.

1. Rose Gold

The soft but rich intensity of rose gold enhances this watch’s overall presence, which is further elevated by romantic shades of lilac, rose and cream. Now that’s hard to resist.

2. 36mm case

This 36mm case is larger than most women’s wristwatches, but it allows for a more detailed dial. Proof that bigger’s always better.

3. Micromosaic

A special type of mosaic that uses unusually small pieces of glass or enamel-like material, micromosaic is the technique behind this captivating depiction of a peacock, an animal that’s frequently used by Harry Winston for its watches and jewellery collections.

4. 1989

Since its debut in 1989, the Premier collection has been used by Harry Winston to demonstrate the maison’s different artistic crafts. The collection’s distinctive diamond-set lugs at 12 and 6 o’clock recall the arched entrance to the brand’s Fifth Avenue Flagship boutique in New York,
