Sarah Zhuang explains how Sisley helps her maintain her glowing skin despite a busy travel schedule and long working days
Sarah Zhuang, as the founder of eponymous brand Sarah Zhuang Jewellery, is no stranger to pretty, glowing works of art. She is also the brand’s main designer and travels regularly to destinations such London and Japan to showcase her designs—but keeping her own skin pretty and glowing despite that busy schedule is easy, thanks to the Sisleÿa collection.
The Sisleÿa range includes an Essential Skin Care Lotion, a silky, lightweight lotion used to prep the skin for the anti-ageing skincare routine; an Anti-Wrinkle Concentrated Serum; a Firming Concentrated Serum; two moisturisers, Sisleÿa L’Intégral Anti-Âge and Sisleÿa L’Intégral Anti-Âge Extra Rich; and an Eye & lip Contour Cream.
The collection stands out for its all-encompassing approach to anti-ageing, focusing on the effects of genetics, lifestyle and the environment—whether from pollution in the air or a party that ran late, from too much sun or too little sleep. The formula includes powerful plant extracts from Persian acacia and lindera, in addition to a soy and yeast protein complex, to firm-up and smooth out the complexion.
“I have very sensitive skin and some of the anti-ageing skincare products that I’ve used in the past were too greasy for me, but the Sisleÿa L’Intégral Anti-Âge range is lightweight and absorbs well,” says Zhuang. “When I wake up in the morning, my face is dewy and glowing, and after I rinse it with water it feels soft and hydrated. Within the first two weeks of using the products, I noticed my skin was smoother and I had fewer fine lines.”
And with Zhuang having to juggle a busy schedule of managing a brand, attending meetings and events, and going on business trips, she likes the Sisleÿa L’Intégral Anti-Âge range’s effectiveness, which means that less is more when it comes to her daily skincare routine.
“In the past I would sometimes use a hydrating serum and then an anti-wrinkle one, which is time-consuming,” she says. “What I like about this range is that the anti-wrinkle serum is hydrating enough and everything absorbs well, so it saves time. And after a long-haul flight, my skin is usually quite dry, so the Sisleÿa L’Intégral Anti-Âge cream is particularly good; it really replenishes and restores my skin.”
