The Simone Rocha x H&M collaboration will arrive in stores this spring
The past year has provided few and far between reasons to go shopping—especially for dreamy, voluminous, beautiful dresses. But this March, a once-in-a-lifetime Simone Rocha for H&M collection will arrive in shops and, well, get ready to get all dressed up, even if you have nowhere to go.
Rocha is the first Irish designer—her father, John Rocha, was born in Hong Kong and moved to Ireland in his 20s—to collaborate with the fast fashion retailer. The limited-edition collection will include womenswear, menswear, and childrenswear and, if early photographs are anything to go by, will feature a full slate of her signature embellishments on occasionwear ("tulle dresses and tailoring," the announcement promises), knitwear, shirting, outerwear, separates (T-shirts), accessories, and "pearl-embellished footwear" (swoon!).
"I am so thrilled to be working with H&M on this very special collection," Rocha said in the announcement. "It truly is a celebration of the signatures of my brand, and the influences that have shaped me. As a designer, and as a customer, I’ve been such a fan of the H&M collaboration concept. Margiela, Alber Elbaz, Comme des Garcons–it’s such an amazing list of alumni to be a part of."
