Kicking off the start of the biannual fashion month, New York fashion week may have been a paired-back affair due to the pandemic, but there was still plenty of street style looks to enjoy
New York's Fall/Winter 2021 Fashion Week ushered in the beginning of fashion month this week, with the event largely taking place virtually due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. The majority of brands that showcased collections between February 14 and 17 favoured digital showings, with just a handful of designers––including Jason Wu and Rebecca Minkoff––opting for socially distanced runway shows.
With global travel still largely off the cards, unsurprisingly the event didn't usher in anything like it's usual crowds and fanfare, but some fashion lovers still hit the frosty New York streets for the occasion. A year into the pandemic, face masks were very much the standout accessory, with everything from matchy-matchy looks, to embellished options and loud prints all on display.
