The enchanting Parisian couture house appoints the budding designer as their new design director

The late Italian fashion designer, Elsa Schiaparelli has been associated with the likes of Coco Chanel, and regarded as one of the most prominent figures in the fashion industry. With the intention of maintaining Schiaperelli’s creative legacy, following the brand’s recent revival, comes the appointment of Bertrand Guyon who has been named as design director of the Parisian couture house.

“I feel honoured to be part of Schiaparelli today and to develop it further, respecting its heritage and tradition while adding a modern take, something Elsa Schiaparelli had always demonstrated.” – Bertrand Guyon

The first Schiaperelli collection designed by Bertrand Guyon will be presented in Paris in July, 2015 during Haute Couture fashion week.
