The designer’s first Hong Kong boutique pays tribute to his original store in New York

Located in the heart of Central, tucked away in the confines of On Lan Street, American designer, Thom Browne and Joyce Group have opened his first Hong Kong boutique. The space occupies an impressive three-tatler_stories and the design is based on his original store in New York.

The concept was realised by Studio Mellone, with notable design features including a glass ‘box’ enclosed staircase veiled with white blinds that weave back and forth connecting the floors together, comfortably housing a full range of the men’s collection including an assortment of shoes and accessories.

Harking back to the late 1950s and early 1960s with poured Terrazzo floors, grey marble walls plus Browne’s signature window blinds and simple fluorescent lighting, the atmosphere captures the sartorial aesthetic of the brand, suited for the modern gentlemen.
