If you're looking for eco-friendly fashion options, these brands are taking steps in a sustainable direction by using everything from nylon made of recycled plastics, to off-cut leathers and natural materials. Proving that it's easy to be both chic and green, here we list the most sustainable luxury bag and accessory brands to buy now.

1. Prada

Prada’s full collection may not be sustainable – yet anyway – but with its new Re-Nylon capsule collection, the brand is definitely making positive steps in the right direction. The Re-Nylon collection introduces iconic Prada bags executed in a new regenerated nylon, ECONYL®, which is obtained through the recycling and purification process of plastic waste collected from oceans, fishing nets, and textile fibre waste. Partnering with UNESCO, a portion of the proceeds from the capsule collection will be donated to help fund an ocean sustainability education programme.

Launched just in time for the spring/summer season, Bottega Veneta’s new cork bag is a sustainable and stylish option. The new eco offering appears on the brand’s iconic Pouch, as well as on The Shoulder Pouch and the Daisy cross-body. The material is made by recycling natural fibers of cork and fennel, which undergo treatments to be mounted on a fabric support. The finished result is not only incredibly chic, but also lightweight, waterproof and sustainable.

Created by Chief Creative Officer Riccardo Tisci, the Cannon belt bag ticks boxes for its green credentials, but is also versatile and stylish in an exclusive pastel pink.
