The brand’s Connected Watch is the official watch of The Kingsman

The Kingsman agents are back in theatres worldwide on September 22 and with them, they bring a new gadget, the TAG Heuer Connected Modular 45 smartwatch. Gadgets are an essential part of a spy’s arsenal and in Kingsman: The Golden Circle, agents will use their smartwatch to try to once again save the world.

To make this watch stand out on its own, TAG Heuer created a Kingsman special edition which will be included in the Kingsman collection on sale on Mr Porter.

This edition separates itself from the core collection of the TAG Heuer smartwatch by having the Kingsman logo on the case-back, the buckle and in a subdial at nine o’clock. The Kingsman inscription can be seen at three o’clock on the dial, as well as on the inside of the leather bracelet.

In case you somehow still forget that you are wearing the Kingsman special edition, the watch will vibrate twice a day for 10 seconds at 10:10 with the logo appearing on the screen, and last but not least, another cool way to display the Kingsman logo on your smartwatch is by using Android Wear’s flashlight feature.

It was director Matthew Vaughn who requested to have his agents fitted with smart watches: "For Kingsman: The Golden Circle, we needed a smart watch for our agents. We looked at the different options available, but none of them were elegant enough for a Kingsman. Then I saw an interview on Bloomberg TV with Jean-Claude Biver about his connected watch, and it became immediately obvious; the Kingsman agents would wear the TAG Heuer Connected."

The watch comes with a second strap in orange velvet, inspired by the smoking jacket worn in the film by Eggsy, portrayed by Taron Egerton.

TAG Heuer’s smartwatch will share its time on screen with another TAG Heuer watch, the legendary Monaco Calibre 11.
