Giorgio Armani Beauty's new CREMA NERA SUPREME DEFENSE FLUID fights against the biggest beauty problems in the city

In today’s dust-clogged cities, pollution—particularly urban pollutants like PM2.5—is a new beauty concern besieging women everywhere. According to L’Oreal’s Research and Innovation division, women have named it as one of their top three beauty enemies, together with UV exposure and a lack of sleep.
To combat this new generation of beauty woes, Giorgio Armani Beauty has just launched the SUPREME DEFENSE FLUID, the latest addition to the CREMA NERA EXTREMA range. Originally created as a premium anti-ageing skincare line based on resurrection plants in the trademarked “Reviscentalis complex”, CREME NERA EXTREMA now also provides protection against pollution and long UVA, UVA and UVB rays with the SUPREME DEFENSE FLUID.
UV rays and pollution create skin problems like dehydration, inflammation and skin oxidation, all of which cause the skin to age prematurely. The SUPREME DEFENSE FLUID targets these issues with a formula enriched with two key active ingredients—natural Mediterranean caper and baicalin.
These two extracts are almost magical in their healing powers—the caper for its anti-inflammatory properties, and Baicalin, which comes from the root of a Chinese plant, for its antioxidant properties. Baicalin also provides protection against UVA rays and helps improve the skin’s barrier function, protecting the skin against dark spots and sebum oxidation.
Giorgio Armani Beauty’s silky fluid promises to improve cell respiration, so that the skin appears oxygenated and recovers its natural radiance. To take it to the next level, add the CREMA BIANCA brightening serum to your beauty regimen as well. The concentrate acts at different levels of the skin for a more comprehensive anti-dark spots effect, and it helps add an extra level of defence against signs of ageing.
The Supreme Defense Fluid’s release couldn’t have come at a better time. UV exposure is particularly high in the summer, and the Hong Kong Observatory recorded “high to very high” levels of pollution in May this year. These serious health risks to the skin should not be taken lightly.
