It’s time to meet Mr P—the new man on the block at Mr Porter

The global online luxury retailer Mr Porter has taken the plunge into design this season to release its very own label. And, given that Mr P. is a people-pleaser, the debut collection has something for everyone.

Offering quintessentially British classics and minimalist basics, Mr P. embodies an effortless style that’s always been very Mr Porter. For the capsule’s early November debut, Mr P. pays homage to 20th-century Briton Lucian Freud and the painter’s 1950s London style.

If you’re a regular shopper on Mr Porter, then you’re bound to love Mr P. Why? According to the site, each piece was designed based on the feedback of 600,000 consumer surveys carried out on the website over the last 7 years. That’s dedication.

Think reimagined Oxford shirts, Japanese selvedge denim and tech-savvy blazers. Not to mention layer-friendly pieces like gorgeous 15-gauge cashmere knitwear, as well as single- and double-breasted overcoats in virgin wool and cashmere blend.

Purveyors of European savoir-faire will also appreciate the line’s "Made in Italy" insignia, with pieces also crafted in Portugal and denim developed in Japan. Prices start from £55 for a t-shirt, through to £875 for a statement leather aviator jacket.

The British retailer expects to design five limited-edition capsules every year for the luxury shopper, with the next one dropping in February 2018.

The Mr P. debut collection will be available exclusively on Mr Porter from November 7 on mrporter.com
