Dayton Group deputy managing director Andrew is the co-chairman of the Hong Kong Cancer Fund, chairman of Le French May and vice-president of the Society of the Academy for Performing Arts, the academy’s fundraising arm. A collector of silverware and sculptures, he has a son, Anthony.
As the chairman of the annual arts festival Le French May, Andrew has been instrumental in promoting cultural exchange between Hong Kong and France. Since its launch with a modest programme in 1993, Le French May has grown to stage an extensive calendar of must-attend events across a range of cultural interests and disciplines. Andrew explains, "It's not for the French community. It's not for the elite. It's for everyone."
