Hats off to cult New York make-up brand MAC Cosmetics – they’ve done it again with another highly covetable limited-edition designer collaboration, this time with renowned couture milliner Philip Treacy.

Venerated London designer Treacy has created headpieces for the likes of Alexander McQueen, Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel, the British Royal Family and even Lady Gaga (her telephone-shaped headpiece was one of his most famous designs).

For his partnership with MAC, Treacy has combed his archives to create a trio of head-turning headpieces that deliberately showcase the structure of the face. The make-up collection includes a range of striking lipsticks, eye products and face powders that pair with each hat to accentuate the wearer’s features for a high-impact, high fashion look. Standout items include the intricately designed High-Light Powders, Fluidline gel eyeliners in bright blue and teal, and Lipsticks in bold burgundy and berry shades.
