The British retailer and Japanese designer have partnered up for a fashion-forward collection to coincide with Men’s Fashion Week

Matches Fashion, the leading luxury shopping destination based in London, has exclusively partnered with Yohji Yamamoto’s Y3 label for a curated capsule collection consisting of three limited edition pieces that are launching in conjunction with Yamato’s Spring/Summer 2016 runway show, set to take place on June 28, 2015.

The capsule collection draws inspiration from a series of ink drawings created by Yohji Yamamato after an exhibition of Yamamoto’s paintings at No.23, the private townhouse in central London owned by Matches Fashion. The designer’s paintings were so admired by Y3’s creative team that they used it as the foundation for their spring collection, leading to the creation of the exclusive styles.

The Matches x Y3 capsule collection will be available in store and online on June 28, 2015
