A classic timepiece is reinterpreted in the Swiss watchmaker’s newest addition to their Historiques collection

In celebration of Vacheron Constantin’s 260 years of expertise and innovation, the Swiss watchmaker is adding to their esteemed Historiques collection with a classic chronograph that has been fitted with iconic ‘cow-horn’ lugs – a contemporary interpretation of an iconic model created by Vacheron Constantin in 1955.

The Historiques collection highlights the wealth of the watchmakers heritage that infuses creative vivacity and horological excellence, breathing new life into a classic timepiece. The chronograph combines a classic aesthetic with a reinterpreted design, a reinvented legend the new Historiques Cornes de Vache 1955 appears in a 950 platinum 38.50mm diameter-case featuring delicately polished ‘cow-horn’ lugs. With its contemporary diameter the watches display has a modern and clean design, ensuring opitmal readibility of its functions.

Fundamentally the Historiques Cornes de Vache 1955 pays tribute to the chronograph, holding a special place in Vacheron Constantin’s rich heritage. From the first watch made by Jean-March Vacheron therough to the present day, 260 years have elapsed – allowing some of the most complex and prestigious chronographs, all bearing the Vacheron Constantin stamp of excellence.
