The biggest names in watchmaking were in Geneva for The SIHH fine watchmaking fair, previewing the new complications set to adorn their latest exceptional timepieces. Here's a rundown of the most eye-catching women's watches presented at the event

Van Cleef & Arpels presented the "Lady Arpels Ronde de Papillons" watch, a new addition to the “Complications Poétiques” range. The watch uses a brand new movement built specially for this model, featuring retrograde hours, variable-speed minutes and on-demand animation.

The Piaget "Limelight Stella" watch features a moon phase, a traditional complication for tracking the moon cycle at a glance. This is Piaget’s first complication watch for women.

The Jaeger-LeCoultre "Reverso Classic Small Duetto" is available in pink gold or stainless steel. It has a reversible dial with front and back faces, and two sets of hands driven by the same single movement. The dial is finished in black with an Art Deco style and is enhanced by two rows of diamonds.

The "Velvet Secret Heart" is one of five new Roger Dubuis watches presented in the "Velvet" collection at SIHH 2016. The bezel and interior rim are set with rows of diamonds, and the dial uses both Roman and Arabic numerals. The large "XII" and "VI" numerals form a shape echoing a precious vase.

Vacheron Constantin presented the "French Lace" watch as part of its “Métiers d’Art Fabuleux Ornements” range, twinning a cutaway skeleton design with high-level craftsmanship.

The watch uses the caliber 1003 extra-slim movement in 18-karat gold, and each piece in the front-facing décor is precise to the nearest 10th of a millimeter. The three other models presented are "Indian Manuscript," "Ottoman Architecture" and "Chinese Embroidery."
