Maison Rouge NYE Soirée

Tatler Asia

Head to the Grand Hyatt on the last night of the year for one of the most lavish New Year's Eve dinners around. Maison Rouge is a new event concept created by Benoit Lavaud, the founder of Japanese members-only party series Blacklist Tokyo. Taking over the former Club JJ's, now the Grand Hyatt Steakhouse, the inaugural Maison Rouge NYE Soirée offers revellers a four-course meal, free flow, and entertainment all night long from 7.30pm to 3am.

The menu, by Grand Hyatt Steakhouse head chef Marc Benkoe, features canapés like the Bloody Mary Sphere, foie gras cherry bonbons and beef tartare on nori tapioca crisp; followed by appetisers like dressed spanner crab with Oscietra caviar, grilled Carabinero prawn, and squid ink orzo pasta. The main dish is a M5 Wagyu sirloin with trumpet mushroom crust, seared foie gras and black truffle; before a dessert of red velvet sponge, raspberry confit and chocolate crémeux.

Over the course of the night, multiple acts in various rooms of the venue will provide the entertainment, from jazz band OnPoint and DJ Blacklist, to drummer Master Mahka and trumpeter Aymen MusiCrazy. Other rooms will be filled with tarot reader Christy, and aerial performances by Mirrorball production.

Dinner with free-flow is priced at HK$2,950 per person, while the free-flow after-dinner session is priced at HK$1,100 from 10.30pm onwards. Bookings are by referral only; reserve your space online here (or contact the Maison Rouge WhatsApp concierge) and enter the VIP code "TATLER" during registration.
