When it comes to dinner parties, few put together a spread quite like Feiping Chang. Birthday gatherings and themed parties aside, this time Chang had a very different cause for celebration. On Wednesday evening, she pulled out all the stops for a Fendi-themed viewing party at her home ahead of the Italian brand’s Spring/Summer ’21 show.
The guest list was filled with familiar faces: Claudine Ying, Victoria Tang-Owen, Calvin Wang and Jonathan Cheung enjoyed an Italian dinner menu inspired by Adele Casagrande, the late grandmother of Silvia Venturini Fendi, Fendi’s creative director of women’s and haute couture collections.
Carpaccio, prosciutto-wrapped melon and Fendi’s Effe No.1925 pasta was served using the same pesto recipe Casagrande used to prepare. In classic Italian fashion, the meal ended with bowls of tiramisu while the guests watched the models walk the ramp at Venturini Fendi’s final show before Kim Jones takes the helm next season.
