We revealed the 30 Taiwan honourees on the Gen.T List 2019 at an official unveiling event in Taipei

Taipei was the first city on the Gen.T roadshow. We're revealing the Gen.T List 2019 in stages, with events across Asia over a number of weeks. First up was Taipei, where the 30 Taiwan honourees on our list of 400 young leaders shaping Asia's future were the first to be unveiled.

The dinner was attended by members of the Tatler Tribe, the panel of industry heavyweights we consult to select the list, as well as the 2019 honourees. Tribe members at the dinner included Aaron Chan, president of Riant Capital; Shu-Chang Kung, professor at the Graduate Institute of Architecture at National Chiao Tung University; and Yu-Xiu Chen, chairwoman of Taiwan’s Public Television Service and former Minister of Culture of Taiwan.

After dinner, guests were joined by honourees from previous Gen.T Lists for the afterparty, to celebrate their achievements in style. Pop star and 2017 honouree Eve Ai perfomed her hits late into the night.

At the event, we spoke to Pili Wu, founder of Pili Wu Design, and Liz Kao, founder of Taster, to learn what value a platform like Gen.T can create for them and their businesses. Watch the video to see what they had to say.
