The first part only had five episodes which left a lot of viewers hungry for more. It's been confirmed that the second part will also only have five episodes. None of the episode titles are revealed yet but director Ludovic Bernad will be helming episodes 6–7 while Hugo Gélin is directing episodes 8–10.

The series was filmed in one go so we can also expect that the majority of the cast will return. From the first look images revealed by Netflix, we see Assane Diop, looking over Paris from a clock tower and climbing a ladder in what looks like a sewer tunnel.

We also see police officers, Youssef Guedira (Soufiane Guerrab), Sofia Belkacem (Shirine Boutella) and Romain Laugier (Vincent Londez) flashing their police badges to a security officer while wearing formal attire. There's also a photo of Assane walking with Antoine Gouy (Benjamin Ferel) and the dog Assane rescued in the first part so we see that he's still in touch with his close friend from his school days.

When we last saw Assane, we thought he trying to take a turn for the better but the last episode of part one proved us wrong. From the first teaser trailer, Assane will be back to rescue his son, Raoul who has been kidnapped. He warns Leonard, "If you touch my son, I'll kill you".

He will continue his quest for revenge against Hubert Pelligrini, who has torn his family to pieces. In the teaser released earlier, Hubert also says that they'll be using Raoul as bait to lure in Assane. But with Assane's back against the wall, he has to think of a new plan. This new plan might be to "disappear" as the whole of France is looking for him. Or it might be that he's going to pull of yet another "heist" as seen when he's disguising himself in a suit and bowtie for a Pelligrini event.

In the first part, the majority of the filming locations were in Paris including 7 Rue Perrée, Louvre Museum, and Pont des Arts. But the final episode takes place in Étretat, a town on the northern coast of France. It's where the Le Clos Lupin Museum is located which was once the home of author Maurice Leblanc, the creator of Arsène Lupin's character which the series is based on. It's now a museum dedicated to the character.

We see Assane looking at a lone house while on the phone with Leonard, likely nearby where Raoul was taken. We can still expect to see Paris as the clock tower that Assane is looking at seems to be at the Musee d'Orsay, overlooking the river Seine and we also see the Arc Triomphe.
