The Hong Kong designer talks us through three uniforms he designed for the latest City of Dreams hotel in Macau

Uniforms are often understated and overlooked, but at City of Dreams’ new ultra-luxury hotel Morpheus, they were designed to stand out.

From the ambassadors wearing Swarovski-encrusted body stockings (a la Britney Spears in ‘Toxic’) to sharply tailored suits made of precious Loro Piana fabric (a first for the Italian brand), all the uniforms at Morpheus Macau are extremely fashion-forward and catwalk-worthy.

The mastermind behind Morpheus' uniforms is none other than Hong Kong’s couturier, Barney Cheng, who’s no stranger to designing uniforms, not to mention dressing Asia’s A-listers including Angelababy and Kathy Chow.

In our exclusive video, he talks us through his latest creations for Morpheus Macau and how they were inspired by the exo-skeletal building designed by the late Zaha Hadid.
