Casiraghi, the granddaughter of film actress Grace Kelly will be gracing Chanel's upcoming Spring-Summer 2021 campaign and a new project called "Literary rendezvous at rue Cambon"
Charlotte Casiraghi, the daughter of Monaco's Princess Caroline and granddaughter of American film actress Grace Kelly is the new ambassador and spokesperson for Chanel. Casiraghi will embody the campaign for the fashion house's Spring-Summer 2021 Ready-to-Wear collection imagined by Virginie Viard and photographed in Monaco by Inez Lamsweerde Vinoodh Matadin.
Casiraghi has been close to Chanel since her teenage years. She has been photographed by Lagerfeld for the book, The Little Black Jacket: Chanel's Classic Revisited by Karl Lagerfeld and Carine Roitfeld in 2012. She has also attended numerous Chanel events and shows, regularly wearing the fashion house's creations.
The choice seals a long relationship based on trust and friendship, started by Karl Lagerfeld and carried on today by Virginie Viard.

Casiraghi boasts a degree in philosophy and has a passion for literature and poetry—works of art influenced by Lagerfeld at a young age.
The new Chanel ambassador and spokesperson is also the President of the Recontres philosophiques de Monaco, an associate she founded in 2015. It aims to celebrate and promote philosophy through monthly themed events dedicated to reflection, discussion and idea-sharing.
As if that's not enough, Casiraghi is also a distinguished horse rider, who has taken part in several show-jumping competitions and is the patron of the Monte-Carlo International Jumping event.
