There’s no doubt a lot of people want to know how to dress like IU. The singer-songwriter and actress is a fashion icon both on and off screen. IU or real name, Lee Ji-eun is one of South Korea’s most popular soloists, debuting at the age of 15 and already achieving mainstream success soon after. Her 2010 album Real propelled IU to stardom, cementing her status as a force on the music charts in South Korea.
IU has worked with the biggest names in the music industry from G-dragon of Big Bang, Suga of BTS—both Tatler’s Asia’s Most Stylish honourees—to Zico of Block B. Her girl next door image made her Korea’s “little sister” and “The Nation’s Sweetheart”. Throughout her music career, she scored three number one albums, is one of the best-selling solo acts in the K-pop industry and has been in Forbes Korea Power Celebrity list since 2012, even reaching a peak ranking of number three.

But beyond her successful singing career, IU is also an actress that showcased her acting skills in The Producers and Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo. But it wasn’t until her role as Lee Ji-an in My Mister that she really demonstrated her versatility as a dramatic star. The K-drama became one of the highest-rated dramas in cable TV history and garnered critical acclaim. She went on to show her acting range as the fashionable Jang Mang-wol in Hotel del Luna, which earned her a Baeksang Arts Awards Best Actress nomination. Her next anticipated project is Japanese director, Hirokazu Kore-eda's first Korean film, Baby, Box, Broker alongside Parasite's Song Kang-ho and actress, Bae Doona.
IU has also shown that she’s more than just a musician and an actress, posting pictures of her sporting various looks whether it’s from her roles, her music videos or during her personal trips.
