Alexandre Vauthier's Fall/Winter 2021 collection marks the inaugural collection with luxury footwear designer, Giuseppe Zanotti
Fashion designer Alexandre Vauthier announces his trademark license partnership with Italian luxury footwear designer, Giuseppe Zanotti to design, produce and distribute Vauthier's upcoming footwear collection.
Zanotti is well-known for his signature jewelled, sculptured heels as well as his fashion-forward sneakers. Boasting over 30 years of experience under his belt, Zanotti has collaborated with prominent fashion houses and worked with the world's most iconic celebrities.
This partnership between Vauthier and Zanotti began when they met and found that their aesthetics were a natural fit, sharing a love for conceptual design, technical expertise and a commitment to their clients.
"Working with Alexandre has felt very natural, right from the beginning I’ve realized we speak to the same woman with our work and I believe you’ll see this energy running from the clothes to the shoes and vice versa," said Zanotti.

Vauthier's Fall/Winter 2021 collection will be his inaugural collection with Zanotti. Drawing inspiration from the Vautheir runway and the brand DNA—bold, confident and feminine—the unique designs create glamourous moments reminiscent of the 70s and 80s nightlife and embodying the definition of the modern Parisian women.
"For this collaboration, I wanted to create a very distinctive selection of footwear that felt like a natural extension of my collection and also which complements the confident personalities of the Alexandre Vauthier woman," said Vauthier. "The women who wear my collections around the world are both sensual and powerful and this collaboration with Giuseppe Zanotti was made for these bold and inspiring women. Giuseppe understood this perfectly and together we took distinctive details of my couture collection and interpreted them into this footwear collection," he adds.
The collection comprises of around 90 signature styles, including some of the most iconic Vauthier designs as well as fresh styles such as evening sandals and platforms, daytime flats, boots and biker boots, will be produced within the Zanotti Italian production facilities. They will be sold through the brand's Milan and New York showrooms.
The precollection is scheduled to be shown to international key clients from December 6 in Milan and December 7 in New York. It's slated to hit the stores from May 2021. Pricing is available upon request, please contact apac.press@giuseppezanottiasia.com.
